LAH and Paula Moore honored at Jasper Lake Rayburn Chamber of Commerce annual banquet
Lakes Area Hospice compliance officer, Paula Moore, was honored as Outstanding Embassy Club Member of the year and Lakes Area Hospice was named Outstanding Small Business of the year at the annual Jasper Lake Rayburn Chamber of Commerce banquet, held to honor people and businesses in the area.
The Lakes Area Hospice clowns, our very own Hope Family Clowns were asked to act as the hosts for the event. Wearing costumes designed and made by Geneva Graham, a Hope Family Clown volunteer, the clowns greeted guests and escorted diners (with appropriate pomp and circumstance) to their tables. As the evening progressed they danced and flitted about keeping everyone entertained and relaxed. Lakes Area Hospice Executive Director Jeanette Coffield magnanimously volunteered as a Hope Family Clown for the night, in the unforeseen absence of one of the regular volunteers.
Lakes Area Hospice is thrilled that one of their wonderful employees received this award, and wishes to thank the Jasper Lake Rayburn Chamber of Commerce for their continued support of the only locally/community-owned hospice agency in the Jasper area.
